a long week

WOW!!!! Last week was super fun, but also really long. My family came to visit on Fathers Day and stayed until Friday morning. We had so much fun, we saw Toy Story 3 (very cute movie), went to the zoo , went for walks, visited the fountain downtown (pictures to come), and mom and I got to sneak away to a Thrift store. It was so much fun having family here. I love them all so much.

The day they left, we also left for Sun River. Mike competed in a half Iron Man triathlon. I was so excited we finally got to go to one and support him. We stayed in a cabin with another family, and we had so much fun together. The kids played at the pool for hours each day and they loved it. However, my skin didn't like it so much. It was the first time my pail Oregon skin had seen the sun all year. Anyway, we planned on camping Sunday night, but changed our minds when Mike realized how exhausted it can be to swim 1.2 miles, bike 58 miles, and the run 13.1. He decided he would rather sleep in a real bed than on a mat in a tent. :)

I'm so excited because now that this race is over I can start training. YAY!!!! The tin man triathlon is 2 months away and I have a lot of training to do. I should probably go for a run now while the little ones are sleeping.
